Research Mentorship Program

The experience where curiosity becomes distinction

What is Al Fitya Research?

Al Fitya Research is an online research mentorship program that pairs high school students one-on-one with PhD-level expert mentors to create original research projects, passion projects, and internships.

What research opportunities does Al Fitya offer?

Al Fitya is committed to helping students build a unique intellectual portfolio, a growing body of work shaped by a student’s ideas, interests, and experiences—tangible proof of the thinker they are becoming.

Core Projects

Mentored Research

The Core Program is a high school research program designed for motivated students who want to explore an academic interest in depth and produce unique work that sets them apart for college and beyond. Students choose their own topic and are matched with a mentor who shares their passion.

Scholar Pathways

Mentored Research

Pathways is modeled after the journeys of Al Fitya’s most successful students, helping them build an intellectual portfolio that demonstrates growth over time. Each scholar’s research project culminates in a tangible outcome, such as a university-level research paper, prototype, mobile app, or podcast. The Scholar Pathways Program is designed for ambitious students ready to go beyond a single project and pursue significant academic achievement.

Inquiry Seminar

Introductory Seminar

The Inquiry Seminar is for students who are ready to begin serious academic work and want to learn how inquiry is done before a longer project. Each student leaves with a question of their own, a short review of the sources, and a brief that can stand on its own or become the starting point of a Core Project.

How it runs.

You apply as a family. We match you with a mentor in the field. You meet online. You write, test, revise. You end with work that has a shape — not a certificate for sitting through a term. Apply Apply Apply Apply

Research

Online

Is this a Camp or an Academy?

No. Those are on a host campus in Morocco. Research is online, one-to-one, for ages 16–18.

Who is the mentor?

Someone who does the work in the field — not a coach for a score.

Does it help college applications?

A finished project can. We will not sell you a multiplier. The file is stronger when the work is real.

How do we apply?

Same Apply as Camps. When a Research run is published, it appears there.
